1. Who we are
This website (regurk.ie) is operated by Regurk Limited, a company registered in Ireland with its registered office at:

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018, Regurk Limited is the data controller for any personal data you provide to us through this website.

2. What data we collect, and why
We collect as little personal data as possible. Specifically:
a) Information you give us via the contact form
When you fill in our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The contents of your message
We process this data only to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to follow up on a possible business relationship.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services).
b) Technical data (server logs)
Like all websites, we automatically receive technical data when you visit, including:
- Your IP address
- Your browser type, language, and operating system
- The page you visited and the time of access
- The referring website (if any)
This data is processed by our hosting provider (see Section 3) for security, abuse-prevention, and operational purposes. It is retained for a short period and then automatically deleted.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in protecting the website from abuse and ensuring it operates correctly.
c) Spam protection on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To protect the contact form from automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. When you submit the form, Turnstile processes a small amount of technical data ("Signals") to distinguish humans from bots, including:
- Your IP address
- Your browser's TLS fingerprint and User-Agent header
- The referring page
Cloudflare states that this data is processed solely for bot detection and is not used to identify or profile individuals. For more details, see Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum: cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in keeping the contact form free from spam and automated abuse.
d) What we do not collect
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or social media trackers on this site. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not use cookies for any purpose other than essential security (see our Cookie Policy).
We do not engage in any automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
3. Who processes your data on our behalf
To run this website and respond to your messages, we use the following service providers (data processors). Each is bound by a Data Processing Agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — provides website hosting (via Cloudflare Pages), DNS, security/CDN services, spam protection (Turnstile), and email routing for addresses on our domain. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata for the purposes of operating these services.

Resend, Inc. (USA, with EU data residency) — when you submit the contact form, we use Resend's email API to deliver your message to our inbox. Resend processes the contents of the message (your name, email address, and message body) for that delivery purpose only.

Tutao GmbH (Tuta Mail) (Germany) — provides the inbox where messages from the contact form ultimately arrive after being routed via Cloudflare.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with any other third parties.
4. International data transfers
Cloudflare and Resend are based in the United States. When your personal data is transferred to them, the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which provide an adequate level of protection equivalent to that under EU law.
Tutao GmbH is based in Germany (within the EU/EEA), so no international transfer takes place when messages reach our inbox.
5. How long we keep your data
- Contact form messages: retained for as long as is necessary to respond and follow up on the enquiry, typically up to 24 months. After that period, messages may be archived or deleted unless we have an ongoing business relationship that requires retention.
- Server logs: retained by Cloudflare for a short period (typically up to 30 days) and then automatically deleted.
- Resend delivery logs: retained by Resend per their retention policy (typically 30 days for delivery logs).
6. Security
This website is delivered over HTTPS, with TLS encryption provided by Cloudflare. The contact form uses an authenticated server-side function so that credentials are never exposed in the browser. We restrict access to messages received via the form to the people who need it to respond.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict how we process your data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the form on this website or write to info@regurk.ie. We will respond within one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.
